I would say this was steampunk before steampunk was cool but when wasn’t it? Vernians were probably the first to love the style. They were before their time.

It was the eighties, steampunk wasn’t called steampunk yet and I bought this pin and quite a few other pieces from an artist who made them. (another is listed on etsy)

It was the eighties, steampunk wasn’t called steampunk yet and I with my boyfriend when an artist walked in to his mom’s shop. She had made this pin and quite a few other pieces. (another is listed on etsy) I bought half of them. Most of my friends didn’t understand how cool they were. I don’t wear pins so I would like to find a buyer that will love and enjoy this piece instead of letting it sit in a draw for more years.
