Like many woman Venus was divided by her different roles.

There was Venus Genetrix (”Mother Venus”),Venus Felix (”Lucky Venus”), even Venus Kallipygos (”Venus with the pretty bottom”), and the list goes on, an epithet for each the different facets of the goddess
Venus Ercina was the Venus of untamed or wild love in other words, erotic love.

Literally it means “queen of the heather” an untamed rose that grew out of the rocks.

This sterling ring unearths an image of powerful beauty, vulnerability, and complexity of female sexuality in the simplest form I could think of. Inspired by Jean Leon Gerome and done in the Art Nouveau style.

Carved in wax and made in sterling. The venus is 3/4in long.

Shot through the heart is as an ex-voto, a thanks for love and a amulet against the pain that love can bring.  

An Assembled and altered piece , this necklace is made with a vintage silver garnet blood drop , a sterling tattoo flaming heart and a sterling enameled revolver.

Size:   The heart measures 1 1/4 by 1/8in. The revolver measures 1 1/2in long.

Artisan Bullets over Boots Charm Necklace

Necklace is made with a WW2 rem-umc 22 hornet bullet that I converted into a pendant, a sterling sexy boot and a vintage sterling blank charm (no labels here). The sterling box chain is 24in. This is one of a kind. The boot measures 1 3/4in long The bullet is just under 1 3/4 in long

Artisan Are you a Classic Square?

It was the late 20′s and the world was embracing a new era. Flappers, bobbed hair and beads, lots of beads, were in style. The square glass beads were rescued from a necklace that saw one too many parties, but was loved and saved.  

I combined the multi colored Czech glass with seed pearls, sterling spacer beads and a sterling toggle clasp. It is a unique combination of classic and modern.  

One thing I love about the piece is since has blues,earth colors, greens, red, black, and of course white pearls it can be worn with many different outfits. It can be worn when you are dressed up or wearing jeans.  

The length of the necklace is 17in. Why? so that you can double it up and wear it as a bracelet (tightness may vary depending on your wrist size) The heart and arrow toggle clasp can be worn in the front, side or behind. Your choice. The square glass beads are 1/4in wide.  

This is a one of a kind necklace. Literally I only made one.
