a 20 and 24 inch double strand faux pearl necklace with a glass cameo clasp. The necklace unclasps to leave the glass cameo as a stand alone pin. The pin itself has a German made glass cameo surrounded by small rhinestones

This double strand of pearls came to me in a Majorica case. I do not see any marks clasp or pin. Because of that I do not feel comfortable calling them Majorica pearls. I will however pass along the case to whoever wants to add this to their collection. This is a quality strand.

Size: 24in long
Metal: base
Circa: late 1950′s
Marked:none
Origin: glass cameo German, pearls unknown. .

I would say this was steampunk before steampunk was cool but when wasn’t it? Vernians were probably the first to love the style and more want the tech, but it was before their time.

It was the eighties, steampunk wasn’t called steampunk yet and I with my boyfriend when an artist walked in to his mom’s shop. She had made this pin and quite a few other pieces. (another is listed on etsy) I bought half of them. Most of my friends didn’t understand how cool they were. I don’t wear pins so I would like to find a buyer that will love and enjoy this piece instead of letting it sit in a draw for more years.

This unsigned handmade artist clock pin measures 1 3/4-in by 1 1/2-in
