Growth- A tree strong, tall and majestic started somewhere. It was nurtured to where it is. On one side of this charm is a growing tree and on the other side is life. It measures 5/8-in by 1/2-in
Real morpho butterfly wings as background make this double sided Rhodium plated Pendant stand out. This double sided pendant has a palm tree on one side and on the other a flamingo, which is unusual for these pieces.
I bought a collection from the original vendor, the last time he took these out was for the NY world’s Fair in 1964. He sold and dealt with butterfly wing jewelry from the 40′s-the 60′s
American companies, Hoffman specifically started making morpho butterfly wing jewelry in the 30′s after it became popular in England in the 20′s.
