Under a heavy beveled glass are interwoven locks of thick ash blond hair. Framed by an elegantly engraved frame. This is a stunning example of mourning “Momento Mori”. The back has a c – clasp.

While Hair mourning pieces are usually attributed to the Victorian era this piece is a Georgian era Momento mori.
